Over the course of the last few months, our hardworking team has dedicated quite a bit of time toward refreshing the look and feel of LD+A
. As one of our most valued member services, this redesign is a natural extension of the other changes taking place at the IES.
This is the fifth redesign that has occurred under Paul Tarricone
, LD+A’s Editor and Publisher. While the transformation of the magazine’s aesthetic over the years might be the most obvious change, the main focus will always be ensuring a positive reading experience. “Consuming content is a different experience on the printed page than on a computer screen or mobile device. The presentation should reflect that and leverage the unique benefits of the print medium,” says Tarricone. “We understand that in today’s media landscape, digital content needs to work hand in hand with print. The LD+A section within the redesigned IES website includes project videos
and photo galleries
of some of the case studies presented in print. LD+A’s online news
section will also be beefed up. And we’ll use IES’s social media platforms to steer you to that web-based content.”
There are a lot of great changes taking place within our Society and the lighting industry as a whole. We hope that you continue to enjoy your subscription to LD+A, and that this redesign enhances your reading experience.
