Seeing Light in a New Way: The Science, Impact and Technological Remedies of Flicker
CEU and LU credits are available for attendees

Join us for the second installment of our breakfast and technology series.

This informative discussion will discuss Flicker and its impact.

We will:

  • Examine flicker and stroboscopic effects, whether perceived or invisible, and how they can affect human behavior, task efficiency, and other social and human factors.
  • Understand how flicker and stroboscopic effects are being measured and discussed within the lighting industry by groups such as IEEE, Energy Star, DOE, NEMA, and others.
  • Examine the evolution of lighting technologies, including the latest technologies that utilize constant current, to control flicker and stroboscopic effects by replacing PWM methodologies.
  • Discuss what these technological advancements mean for the greater community in applications such as schools, offices, and industrial facilities.
